Nordens Ark is a private non-profit foundation set up to give endangered animals a future. Breeding, research and education to disseminate knowledge about biological diversity are the main objectives of this foundation.
It also engages in numerous projects in the field, both in Sweden and adroad. It works with measures to strengthen populations by releasing animals in th ewild and by improving the environments where the species live.
Reintroductions of Eurasian lynx have been done in Poland.
